Description
Generic tablets are NOT chewable
A monthly medication for the prevention of heartworm disease. Blue for dogs up to 25lbs (11kg); Green for dogs from 25 to 50lbs (12-22kg) and Brown for dogs from 50 to 100lbs (23-45kg).

Directions
Give one tablet once monthly by mouth for the control of Heartworm disease. Invermectin (nuheart/heartgard) should not be given to collies, border collies, Australian Shepards, Shetland sheepdogs and Old English Sheepdogs as they have a “mutant” gene which causes them not to be able to metabolize the medication properly which leads to the drug reaching toxic levels in the brain.

Ingredients
Each Heartgard Blue tablet contains 68 micrograms of Ivermectin. Each Heartgard Green tablet contains 136 micrograms of Ivermectin. Each Heartgard Brown tablet contains 272 micrograms of Ivermectin.
